Tarpon Spring is a city located in Pinellas County on the Gulf of Mexico, 45 minutes north of St. Petersburg, known as the sponge capital of the world, also known for the significant presence of Greek-Americans, many of whom continue to speak Greek in their homes. Here you can enjoy the excellence of Greek food, as well as shops selling handmade goat's milk soaps, sponges and small boutiques that will make your stay very pleasant. We will visit the miraculous chapel of San Miguel Arcángel and if you wish you can participate in the sponge fishing demonstration. Weeki Wachee State Park, was founded in 1947 and is known for its real mermaid show that takes place in crystal clear waters in a beautiful spring that has not been found deep.
